Amb la Dieta Mediterr\u00e0nia &#8230; s\u00ed!<br \/>\n<\/b><br \/>\nLa Dieta Mediterr\u00e0nia redueix el risc de patir diabetis entre un 18 i un 40%. Aquesta \u00e9s una de les moltes conclusions a qu\u00e8 han arribat els investigadors despr\u00e9s d&#8217;analitzar els resultats de l&#8217;estudi Predimed.<\/p>\n<p>Predimed \u00e9s el major estudi sobre dieta mediterr\u00e0nia, en qu\u00e8 van participar un total de 7.447 persones d&#8217;entre 55 i 80 anys d&#8217;edat que, o b\u00e9 patien diabetis o b\u00e9 tenien predisposici\u00f3 a patir malalties cardiovasculars. Aleat\u00f2riament, als participants se&#8217;ls va fer seguir tres dietes: dieta mediterr\u00e0nia suplementada amb oli d&#8217;oliva, dieta mediterr\u00e0nia complementada amb una barreja de fruits secs i una altra dieta baixa en greixos.<\/p>\n<p>Despr\u00e9s de 9 anys d&#8217;investigaci\u00f3, l&#8217;equip va concloure que aquells individus que seguien una dieta mediterr\u00e0nia enriquida amb oli d&#8217;oliva verge extra o fruits secs tenien, respectivament, un 40% i un 18%, menys de risc de patir diabetis en comparaci\u00f3 amb els que havien seguit una dieta baixa en greixos.<\/p>\n<p>A m\u00e9s, els pacients que van participar en l&#8217;estudi i van seguir la dieta mediterr\u00e0nia van gaudir d&#8217;un per\u00edode m\u00e9s llarg abans de necessitar medicaments per tractar la malaltia. Tamb\u00e9, i en comparaci\u00f3 amb aquells adscrits a la dieta baixa en greixos, molts dels pacients amb dieta mediterr\u00e0nia van experimentar una remissi\u00f3 en la seva diabetis.<\/p>\n<p>Al cap de sis anys, totes les persones en el grup de dieta baixa en greixos havien hagut de rec\u00f3rrer a medicaments per tractar la diabetis. En canvi, no va ser fins als vuit anys quan totes les persones del grup de dieta mediterr\u00e0nia van necessitar medicaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>La ra\u00f3 \u00e9s que els greixos que s&#8217;inclouen en la dieta mediterr\u00e0nia s\u00f3n greixos saludables (oli d&#8217;oliva, fruits secs, peix &#8230;) que ajuden a la p\u00e8rdua de pes i s\u00f3n bones per al cor, de manera que eliminar de la dieta pot causar problemes.<\/p>\n<p><b>\u00ab<\/b><b>En un futur s&#8217;hauran de revisar les recomanacions diet\u00e8tiques\u00bb<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Aquesta frase de Jordi Salas Salvad\u00f3, expert en nutrici\u00f3, il\u00b7lustra que l&#8217;adopci\u00f3 d&#8217;un patr\u00f3 diet\u00e8tic saludable com el mediterrani \u00e9s capa\u00e7, per si mateix, de prevenir la diabetis. Aquesta tesi, desenvolupada pels investigadors de l&#8217;estudi Predimed a partir dels resultats, modifica per primera vegada les actuals recomanacions internacionals per prevenir o retardar la diabetis mitjan\u00e7ant la dieta.<\/p>\n<p>En definitiva, per a les persones recentment diagnosticades amb diabetis tipus 2, prendre una quantitat apropiada d&#8217;oli d&#8217;oliva, peix i fruits secs alenteix la progressi\u00f3 de la malaltia m\u00e9s que la restricci\u00f3 del greix.<\/p>\n<p><b>Un problema<\/b><b> d&#8217;abast mundial<\/b><\/p>\n<p>La diabetis \u00e9s una malaltia d&#8217;elevada prevalen\u00e7a a nivell mundial. Segons l&#8217;Organitzaci\u00f3 Mundial de la Salut, en les \u00faltimes tres d\u00e8cades la prevalen\u00e7a de diabetis en el m\u00f3n s&#8217;ha m\u00e9s que duplicat. Hi ha m\u00e9s de 180 milions de persones diab\u00e8tiques a tot el m\u00f3n i es preveu que aquestes xifres es dupliquin el 2030 i que, en els propers 10 anys, la mortalitat per diabetis augmenti en un 50%.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;estudi sobre la diabetis l&#8217;ha portat a terme l&#8217;equip de Nutrici\u00f3 Humana de l&#8217;Hospital Universitari de Sant Joan de Reus, l&#8217;Institut d&#8217;Investigaci\u00f3 Sanit\u00e0ria Pere i Virgili (IISPV), la Universitat Rovira i Virgili i el CIBER Obesitat i Nutrici\u00f3 de l&#8217;Institut de salut Carlos III, sota la direcci\u00f3 del Dr. Jordi Salas Salvad\u00f3 (URV), en col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 amb la xarxa d&#8217;Atenci\u00f3 Prim\u00e0ria de l&#8217;Institut Catal\u00e0 de la Salut, que dirigeix el Dr. Josep Basora.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Es pot reduir el risc de patir diabetis?
